The compact vertical bullnoser

Extreme compactness, simplicity and an affordable cost are the main features of these torus-polishing machines that stand out also for their reliability (hydraulic motors and lever system – 1987 MM SpA patent – for the oscillation of the mandrel holding beam) and that are particularly suitable for small spaces and processing of 2-3-4 cm thick slabs.

Offered in 2 versions: the LCT 521 – shaping of convex round edges by a single cup-shaped diamond wheel through shape copying – and LCT 522 – same principle for the round edges and shaping of the “OGEE” profiles (no polishing) thanks to an additional electric spindle placed between the chamfers and the polishing mandrels mounting shaped diamond wheels.

LCT 521 is equipped with:

  • no. 1 CALIBRATING MANDREL to gauge thickness at an adjustable depth (max 6 cm). This mandrel can be adjusted both transversely and longitudinally with respect to the tool axle. Moreover it can be rotated from 0° to 90°, and can also be used to carry out housings for the dripstone; for Ø 250 mm tools.
  • no. 2 OPPOSED MANDRELS INCLINED AT 45° for chamfers and/or bevels of various dimensions. If you  need to carry out round profiled edges, these mandrels, thanks to proper conicaltruncated diamond wheels,  greatly help the following shaping of the oscillating mandrels that mill edges; for Ø 130 mm wheels.
  • no. 5 OSCILLATING POLISHING MANDRELS, with hydraulic motors and pneumatic actioning. The first one equipped with a FEELER PIN (PROBE) for shapes copy (shapes with 10, 15 and 20 mm radius supplied with the machine) and mechanical stop for the use of a cup shaped diamond wheel. For Ø 130 mm wheels.
